It wasn’t an easy rescue. The prince wasn’t out with the llamas on his own each day. There were a group of mean-faced guards around him all the time. But somehow, Chimpu’s father and brothers managed to sneak in while the guards were distracted, snatch the boy and hurry off.

It didn’t take long for the guards to realise what had happened and chase after them.

A fierce fight began, but Chimpu’s family won. Yawar was free! Hurray!

There was no time to celebrate, though. The father and brothers had to get Yawar to safety and so off they ran to…
